The term cancer covers different types of malignant tumours. Each type of tumour is distinctive, with it’s own symptoms. This means, it’s very confusing for ordinary people to gain authentic knowledge of the type of cancer they have – regular visits to GP or hospital will not necessary answer all the questions. Add this to a culture of silence when it comes to cancer.

Muslimcancersupport.net is a community based project, aiming to help and support those touched with cancer through support groups, regular hospital visits, sight seeing, and more! We are the first Muslim cancer support group in United Kingdom, based in London. MCS is initiated with the help of Junction49. We are hoping to gain sufficient volunteers from all over England to extend our service, but that can only be possible with your help and determination. Currently, the project is done on a small-scale since this project has only started and much is to be done.

Who to turn for information, help and support? We are here to give authentic information, assist you in this great time of need and support you whether you are a cancer patient, a relative of someone with cancer or simply a friend.
